RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Human Resources Committee held on 7th October 2024 be approved as a true record and signed by the Chairman.

Sexual Harassment Policy

The Chief of Human Resources introduced the item and the report to the committee. Members were advised that there has been a change in Law which makes this policy a requirement, advising of the intention to build on and amend as appropriate going forward.
Members had a question and debate session.
Following this session the Chief Human Resources Officer agreed to takeaway suggested changes to wording where appropriate alongside looking forward to ensuring relevant training sessions are arranged.
The committee agreed that seeing the changes and progression to the policy would be beneficial. The Chief Human Resources Officer advised members that it can be brought back to committee at a later date to see this progression.
Proposed by Councillor Milne, Seconded by Councillor Harrison and following a vote, it was RESOLVED that the Committee APPROVE the Sexual Harassment Policy.
Members had a question and debate session.
