The Chair welcomed the Committee back to another municpal year and welcomed Councillors Caws, Baker and Reynolds as members.

6 | Update from Task and Finish Groups |
Housing Policies Task and Finish Group
Councillor Broomfield confirmed that the Group had not met recently but a meeting was due to take place in the next couple of weeks. It was agreed that Councillor Baker be appointed to the Task and Finish Group which will be Chaired by Councillor Asman.
Graffiti Task and Finish Group
It was agreed that a Graffiti Task and Finish Group be formed which will be Chaired by Councillor Gomer and include Councillors Spencer, Broomfield and Baker. |

Corporate Plan App 1 Corporate Plan App 2 Corporate Plan App 3 The Corporate Strategy Manager gave a presentation and outlined the purpose of the Corporate Plan, the themes of the new plan and the next steps.
Councillor Baker requested that the document be available in an Easy Read format.
RESOLVED –
Policy and Performance Scrutiny Panel noted the proposed new Corporate Plan Three-year Action Plan 2023-26. |

Parking Standards SPD Report
Parking Standards SPD App 1 The Planning Policy Specialist introduced the report.
RESOLVED –
That Policy and Performance Scrutiny Panel made the following recommendations to Cabinet:
(1) To clarify the approach to EV charging points in residential apartment buildings with fewer than 10 associated parking spaces (paragraph 5.1.3) in order to provide greater certainty about what the policy seeks to achieve from such developments; (2) To note the potential affordances of slow charging, tariff-linked charging, and charging based on domestic micro-generation in order to support grid balancing and to take those capabilities into account in addition to the fast-charging capability requested in paragraph 5.1.4; and (3) To specify the minimum width on entry into car barns (paragraph 5.6.3). |
