Changes to the 2023 Domestic Waste & Recycling Policy

Minutes
The Service Director for Neighbourhoods and Green Spaces introduced the report and explained why revisions to the policy have been made.
A discussion took place with regards to the positioning of bins on the highway and assisted collections.
Councillors praised the Waste and Recycling Team for their hard work and service across the Borough.
RESOLVED –
That Policy & Performance Scrutiny Panel considered and commented on the proposed revisions to the 2023 Domestic Waste and Recycling Policy and made the following recommendation to Cabinet:
(1) That the Policy and Performance Scrutiny Panel recommends that an updated Enforcement Policy is brought forward to enable the enforcement of bins left on the highway.
A discussion took place with regards to the positioning of bins on the highway and assisted collections.
