Consideration was given to an appeal against dismissal for reason of gross misconduct.
Those present were referred to the hearing procedure as set out on page 4 of the agenda.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:27 and reconvened at 11:17 in order for the Panel to consider further information presented by the Appellant.
Evidence was heard from the Appellant. Management then presented their case. Reference was made to the documentation sent to the Appellant under confidential cover.
Both parties were given the opportunity to ask questions. Members of the Sub-Committee asked a series of questions of both parties.
The Chairman adjourned the meeting at 11:38 to enable the Sub-Committee to consider the matter. The Panel returned at 12:40 and presented their decision.

That the original decision of the Head of Environmental Services be confirmed.
