The Licensing Manager presented the report to consider an application for a variation of the existing Premises Licence in respect of premises at Haydown Farm, Wiremead Lane, East Cholderton.
The applicant sought to vary the existing hours for supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 1100 to 2200 hours Monday to Saturday and 1100 to 2100 hours Sunday. In response to a question from the Chairman, the Licensing Manager reported that no official complaints had been received from residents, the Police or Environmental Health regarding the existing licence.
The Chairman also reported that he had chaired the meeting when the existing licence was considered.
The applicant was invited to address the Sub-Committee and members were given the opportunity to ask questions of the applicants.
The objectors were invited to address the Sub-Committee and members were given the opportunity to ask questions. The applicant was also invited to ask questions of the objectors.
The landowner was asked to confirm a statement made by one of the objectors.
The supporter was invited to address the Sub-Committee and members were given the opportunity to ask questions. The objectors were also invited to ask questions of the supporter.
The applicant then summed up and the Chairman adjourned the meeting to enable the Sub-committee to consider the matter.
