Assessment of Air Quality - Annual Statement Report 2020

Richard Lee, Regulatory Services Manager introduced the report.

 

Councillor Ashmore thanked Mr Lee and his team for their hard work.  He was encouraged that the council is on the right trajectory to achieving cleaner air thanks to a number of measures. 

 

DECISIONS

The Cabinet Member for Environment & Climate Change:

 

·                Acknowledged the narrative provided in respect to the 2019 pollution dataset and associated assessment of compliance with the National Air Quality Objectives.

·                Approved the data for inclusion within the forthcoming Annual Status Report 2020 and thereafter its submission to the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs.
