The purpose of this report is to provide Licensing Committee members with an end of year summary of key information relating to the work and demand for licences granted by the Licensing Authority.

The Gambling Act 2005 - Adoption of Statement of Licensing Policy for 2025 - 2028
Purpose
The purpose of this report is to inform the Committee of the representations received in response to the consultation process which was undertaken on the draft statement of licensing policy in respect of the Gambling Act 2005. The consultation was undertaken between 10 February 2025 and 24 March 2025. The report also seeks the approval of the Licensing Committee of the proposed final statement of licensing policy and to commend it for formal adoption by Council.
RECOMMENDED that the Licensing Committee
1. Considers the responses received and approves the amendments to the proposed final statement of licensing policy;
2. Refers this report to Council for information and guidance in respect of the requirements of the Gambling Act 2005; and
3. Recommend that Council adopts the statement of licensing policy in accordance with Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005.

Update of Police Alcohol Related Crime and Disorder Analysis in relation to the evidential basis for a Cumulative Impact Area - Albert Road
Purpose
The purpose of the report is for the Committee to note further recommendations from the Chief Officer of Police in relation to the evidential basis for consideration of a Cumulative Impact Area being identified for the Albert Road Area.
RECOMMENDED that the Licensing Committee notes the recommendation of the Chief Officer of Police in respect of the consideration of a CIA in Albert Road.
The purpose of the report is for the Committee to note further recommendations from the Chief Officer of Police in relation to the evidential basis for consideration of a Cumulative Impact Area being identified for the Albert Road Area.
