6 Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy development update

To provide members of the Health and Wellbeing Board with an update on the development of a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy for Portsmouth.

7 Integrated Care Partnership Social Connectedness priority

To highlight work taking place on the Portsmouth contribution to the Integrated Care Partnership Social Connectedness priority which is relevant to the Positive Relationships strand of the Portsmouth Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2022-30.

RECOMMENDED that the Health and Wellbeing Board

1.    Note the activity underway in the city to promote social connectedness.

2.    Consider opportunities for this work to further complement the positive relationships priority for the city.

3.    Consider examples or approaches which members of the Health and Wellbeing Board can contribute in their efforts to promote social connectedness through their roles as employers or in delivering services to local residents.

10 Portsmouth Community Pharmacy Summit - Six months on

To update the Health and Wellbeing Board on the work undertaken to support Community Pharmacies in the six months since the Portsmouth Community Pharmacy Summit, held in November 2023.

RECOMMENDED that the Health and Wellbeing Board

1. Note the collaborative efforts across many partners to support Community Pharmacies in the city through seeking to optimise existing services as well as implementing new initiatives.

2. Note that continued efforts are needed to ensure a strong Community Pharmacy sector in the city.
