Purpose.

Low carbon across the South and East
Purpose
1. To provide an introduction the Low Carbon Across the South East (LoCASE) project; and the support it gives to local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to reduce energy use and lower carbon emissions.
2. To provide analysis of the benefits of the project; particularly the anticipated reductions in energy use and carbon emitted. As well as the inward investment in the local area in terms of jobs in the low-carbon sector.
RECOMMENDED that the Cabinet Member for Climate Change & the Green Recovery note the report.
