Proposal: Outline planning application with all matters reserved (except for access) for the development of up to 120 residential dwellings (C3 Use), with access from Meyrick Road, the provision of open space, landscaping and other associated works including demolition of existing buildings on site.

Minutes
Proposal: Outline planning application with all matters reserved (except for access) for the development of up to 120 residential dwellings (C3 Use), with access from Meyrick Road, the provision of open space, landscaping and other associated works including demolition of existing buildings on site.
The site was viewed due to its departure from the local plan.
The Working Party received a report by the Development Management Manager.
The Working Party viewed the site, the subject of the application, to assess whether there were any additional matters that should be considered by the Planning Committee.
RESOLVED that, based on the site inspection and information available at the time, the following additional information be provided to the Planning Committee:
(a) Proof of previous marketing of the proposed site for commercial use.
(b) Possibility of using semi-matured trees for the site’s landscaping.
(c) The likely increase of traffic volume generated by the proposal at the junction of West Street and Meyrick Road.
(d) Drainage location of the site.
The site was viewed due to its departure from the local plan.
