3 APP/24/00186 - Havant Thicket, adjacent to Sir George Staunton Country Park, Middle Park Way, Havant
Proposal: Application for approval of all Reserved Matters (siting, scale, external appearance and landscaping) relating to Phase 2 (Wetland) of the Thicket Reservoir development pursuant to condition 2 of the Hybrid permission planning reference APP/20/00990 dated 15th October 2021.

Minutes Proposal: Application for approval of all Reserved Matters (siting, scale, external appearance and landscaping) relating to Phase 2 (Wetland) of the Thicket Reservoir development pursuant to condition 2 of the Hybrid permission planning reference APP/20/00990 dated 15th October 2021.

The site view was requested by the Executive Head of Place.

The Working Party visited the office located in the application site, where the representatives of the Portsmouth Water Company pointed out the main aspects of the works in progress from a distance. The purpose of the visit was to assess whether there were any additional matters that should be considered by the Planning Committee.

The Working Party received a general presentation from Portsmouth Water relating to the background to the Reservoir project, its planning history, and current and future planning applications relating to the project.

RESOLVED that, based on the information provided during the site visit, no additional information be provided to the Planning Committee.
3 APP/23/01078 - Fowley Cottage, 46 Warblington Road, Emsworth, PO10 7HH
Proposal: Demolition of existing dwelling and replacement with 4No 2bed, 8No 3bed, 2No 4bed dwellings and 1No. 5bed dwelling.

Minutes Proposal: Demolition of existing dwelling and replacement with 4No 2bed, 8No 3bed, 2No 4bed dwellings and 1No. 5bed dwelling.

The site was viewed at the request of the Executive Head of Place.

The Working Party received a report by the Executive Head of Place.

The Working Party viewed the site, the subject of the application, to assess whether there were any additional matters that should be considered by the Planning Committee.

In addition to viewing the application site, the Working Party also viewed the site from 2 Curlew Close, and 44 Warblington Road.

RESOLVED that, based on the site inspection and information available at the time, the following additional information be provided to the Planning Committee:

(a) Details of the tree pruning proposals for the site

(b) Details on whether the proposed site layout plans reflect the tree pruning proposals as stated in (a), and;

(c) The possibility of having a Tree Preservation Order put on a tree within the site and adjacent to 2 Curlew Close
