Presentation by Representatives of Southern Water
Minutes
Members received a presentation by representatives of Southern Water in which they were advised of:
a) The ways in which residents with additional needs being that financial, practical or medical can receive support with paying their bills.
b) The initiatives being introduced involving residents, businesses and communities in exploring ways to reduce waste water
c) The strategies around recycling water and reducing carbon
d) The discussions with developers and local authorities encouraging waste water schemes to be included in planning of new developments and introducing into current road/garden schemes.
e) The building of a new water recycling plant linked to the Havant Thicket Reservoir
