5 Hackney Carriage Table of Fares Increase
Minutes The Senior Licensing Officer presented the report (Agenda Item 5).

The Administration Committee recorded their thoughts and well wishes to Senior Licensing Officer, Andy Jeffery, and his family.

RESOLVED –

That the Administration Committee:

(1)  Considered the proposed table of fares increase for the hire of hackney carriages in the Borough of Eastleigh and approved a consultation on the variation of the table of fares;

(2)  Delegated authority to consider any objections to the proposal to the Head of Legal Services & Data Protection Officer; and

(3)  Delegated authority to implement the new table of fares to the Head of Legal Services and Data Protection Officer once the consultation had concluded and any objections had been considered.
