Councillor Kyrle queried whether the depreciation funding and financial planning action mentioned in the minutes had been completed yet.
The Operations Manager representing Hampshire Cultural Trust informed the Joint Management Committee that there was no update on that available yet.
RESOLVED –
That the Minutes of the meeting held on 17 November 2022 were agreed as a correct record.

Minutes
Jessica Reilly, Operations Manager representing the Hampshire Cultural Trust, presented a report (Agenda Item 3) on activities at or relating to Bursledon Windmill.
Paul Sapwell, Chief Executive Officer of Hampshire Cultural Trust, provided a verbal update on the sail replacement project.
There was a lengthy discussion over Hampshire Cultural Trust, the running of Bursledon Windmill over the years and what could happen in the future.
Councillor Cross requested that Bursledon Windmill be put on the next agenda for Bursledon, Hamble and Hound Local Area Committee’s team meeting to discuss the next steps, and possibly on the Bursledon Parish Council’s agenda for their meeting.
ACTION – The Local Area Manager to add Bursledon Windmill to Bursledon, Hamble and Hound Local Area Committee’s team meeting agenda.

Consideration was given to the finance report (appended to minutes) presented by Jessica Reilly, Operations Manager from Hampshire Cultural Trust, which provided the figures for the 2022/23 budget.
Councillor Broomfield mentioned that the description under Premises Costs should read ‘Business rates, cleaning and refuse’ rather than ‘Business rates, cleaning and refuge’.
ACTION - The Local Area Manager and the Chief Executive Officer of Hampshire Cultural Trust agreed they would stay in contact so that the Local Area Manager would be able to keep everyone updated when needed.
Councillor O’Sullivan, from Bursledon Parish Council, asked the Chief Executive Officer to ensure the volunteers at Bursledon Windmill were also kept updated.
The Chief Executive Officer agreed that he would do this.
