4	Minutes of the meeting held on 28 March 2022	The Chair advised that the minutes of the meeting held on 28 March 2022 would be approved at the Licensing Committee due to be held on 4 July 2022.
5	Consideration of Objections in Relation to the Proposed Variation to the Hackney Carriage Table of Fares	Committee Report V2 RD Appendix A - Objection 1_redacted Appendix B - Objection 2_redacted Appendix C - Committee Report Hackney Tariff Basingstoke 003V2 Appendix D - Climate Change Checklist (AW) Appendix E - April 2022 Two Mile Comparison The Chair introduced the report which requested that the Committee consider the objections received in response to the Council’s proposed variation of hackney carriage fares. The Committee sought clarification from Officers in relation to the £1 increase. The Committee agreed to review the issue again in 6 months’ time. Resolved: The Committee considers the objections to the proposed table of fares and determine that no changes are necessary with the published fare update and agree that it becomes effective as soon as the meters can be updated.
