The Chair introduced the report which requested that the Committee consider the objections received in response to the Council’s proposed variation of hackney carriage fares.
The Committee sought clarification from Officers in relation to the £1 increase.
The Committee agreed to review the issue again in 6 months’ time.
Resolved: The Committee considers the objections to the proposed table of fares and determine that no changes are necessary with the published fare update and agree that it becomes effective as soon as the meters can be updated.
